I'm so glad to know the full-time coder is working well!

I'm not sure I understand why we have so few coders/sys admin people? Surly there are more interested people out there? It can't be sustainable for 10 people to be running this show forever (and I do realize you said the *most active* people, but if you look at code deploy posts on AO3 you see the same few names over and over) There was this post way back in 2011 that explained why experienced coders weren't volunteering, even though there were those who wanted to do so: http://skud.dreamwidth.org/13354.html
Are things any different now? Are we getting more experienced coders in to code?

I don't know how to get more people in. I do what I can to encourage people to make bug reports or express issues, but I don't know how effective that is. I retweet relevant OTW tweets and have blogged about OTW. I used to volunteer, but decided to step down to spend more time trying to develop an original writing career. I feel guilty about that, and through all this I have REALLY wished I was still plugged into the chatter about OTW stuff! I'm not sure what else to do... I really was hoping the Google group would help!
